Childhood bladder problems can persist into teenage years

Resarechers at the University of Bristol have found that children with bladder problems are more likely to continue having problems in teenage years if the underlying issues are left untreated. The Alspac study into incontinence in adolescents found that children with day and night-time wetting problems have a 23-fold increased risk of bedwetting at the age of 14.
